‘I think there needs to be a ceasefire between River and Rose fans. Because the arguments are repetitive. Can’t we just all accept that The Doctor loves them both? There’s no need to argue about who he loves more, he loves them equally as individuals. Rose is not River, and River is not Rose. I’m sure no-one’ll stop as a result of my confession, but I just had to get it off my chest.’
